The Haul Unit Operator at Heidelberg Materials is responsible for safely operating haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within the site while performing equipment inspections and adhering to safety protocols. What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport aggregate materials within the site.
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Follow all site safety protocols and traffic rules to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment as needed.

Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
