Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with BLS and WI PT license for a flexible day shift outpatient ortho role.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient orthopedic setting with potential for pediatric and workman’s compensation cases
- Patient load is typically 8-10 patients per shift
- Flexible 8-10 hour day shifts with no weekend or holiday coverage required
- No floating or on-call/call-back requirements, except for low census situations
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Team values hardworking, social candidates who work well independently
- Business casual attire is required
- During flu season, those declining flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask per facility policy
- Two professional supervisor references and copies of certifications are required for consideration
- Contract allows for up to 36 hours of unbillable low census time
Requirements
- Active WI PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- General PT and orthopedic skills required; new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to manage independent case loads and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Resilience and adaptability to change are essential qualities
