An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician role is available at Mirian Worthy Women's Health Center in Albany, GA, offering comprehensive OB/GYN services including outpatient care, hospital deliveries, and surgeries. The position involves a structured schedule with clinic and operating room duties, hospital privileges at a large teaching hospital, and opportunities for teaching and HIV care involvement. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary with high earning potential, comprehensive benefits, relocation support, and professional development allowances.
Location: Albany, GA Mirian Worthy Women's Health Center (Phoebe Putney Health System)
Setting: Full-spectrum OB/GYN (Outpatient + Hospital-based deliveries & surgeries)
Employment Type: Permanent Start: 2025 (ASAP)
Visa: J1 & H1B Sponsorship Available
Position Highlights:
OB & GYN services within a busy women s health center
Team: 4 OB/GYNs + 3 CNMs + 2 WHNPs (+ 3 PRN OB/GYNs for call coverage)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM clinic + 1 dedicated OR day
Deliveries: per month ( annually)
Call: 1:4 in-house, with CNM support (7 AM 7 PM)
Hospital Privileges: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital (691-bed teaching hospital, Level III NICU, Level II Trauma Center, DaVinci robotic surgery, designated perinatal center)
EMR: eClinicalWorks (clinic) + Meditech (hospital)
APP supervision required
Teaching opportunities: $500/rotation (Family Medicine Residents & CNM students)
Optional HIV care clinic involvement (1,200+ patients, Ryan White Program)
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: Guaranteed base (first 6 months), then production model (RVU-like, high earning potential; avg. 20 patients/day)
Relocation: $5K in-state / $10K out-of-state (50% at signing, 50% at start)
Time Off: 3 5 weeks vacation (based on tenure) + 10 sick days
CME: 5 8 days + $3,500 allowance (includes license & dues)
Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life ($50K employer-paid), STD (employer-paid), LTD (optional)
Retirement: 403(b) with 2% employer contribution + 3% match (after 1 year)
Other: DEA renewal covered, FTCA malpractice coverage, NHSC loan repayment eligible (HPSA 24)
Note: The hospital will take care of the licensing part during credentialing. Hence, It will not be an issue in this Position
