Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Required to take call when necessary
• Perform CT imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operations
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), ARRT-CT (ARRT Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred
• Must be competent in CT patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Ability to perform ACR and manufacturer recommended Quality Control tests
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work independently while participating in team environment
• Must be detail oriented with ability to multitask effectively
