Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Working the floor during service to communicate, coordinate, and assist in orchestrating all steps of service to ensure that all guests receive impeccable service throughout their experience
- Ensure the dining room is set properly, and service pieces are in the correct order/place and maintained
- Responsible for the training, scheduling, and growth of the front-of-house staff
- Communicate with other departments for exceptional VIP guest experiences
Restaurant General Manager Requirements:
- 10+ years in a Restaurant General Manager role
- Managerial and leadership skills
- Exceptional table side service with experience in tasting menus
- Sommelier certification a plus
- Ability to work well with a team and related departments
- Very strong coaching, team development and mentoring skills
- Exceptional skills in hiring, training, and mentoring staff
