This position is for a full-time Family Practice Physician without OB responsibilities at the Florence, AL VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, focused on providing patient-centered primary care within a collaborative team model. The role involves working Monday through Friday with a manageable patient load, supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team, and offers comprehensive federal benefits including generous paid time off and retirement plans. The Florence, AL VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is actively seeking Primary Care Physicians to join our mission-driven healthcare team!

Position Overview:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday
- Patient Load: patients per day per physician, allowing time for quality, patient-centered care
- Team Model: Work as part of a Patient-Aligned Care Team (PACT)
- Each physician is supported by a dedicated RN, LPN and MSA and has expanded support from clinical pharmacy, social work, mental health, and nutrition.
- Employment Type: Federal with full VA benefits
- Paid Time Off: 50 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 days paid absence for CME)
- Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) AND federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active and unrestricted medical license (from any U.S. state or territory)
