Position Requirements & Certification: Must Have: BLS, ARRT, WV X-ray License, WV CARES (prior to start) General Rule: ALL submissions must include a copy of the candidate’s unexpired driver’s license. Licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission. Department Information: Location: 50-mile radius rule applies Rooms / Equipment: 4 rooms: 3 general X-ray, 1 Fluoro 2 portable units, 3 C-Arms (OEC) Diagnostic Rooms: Del Medical, Siemens, Philips Portables: GE AMX with DR-Konika Staffing: Day: 6–7 techs (06:00–17:00) Evenings: 3–4 techs Midnights: 1 tech Supervision: Imaging Director & Manager (M–F, available via phone), Lead tech afternoon shifts Job Duties / Experience Required: Must function in all areas: General X-ray, Portables, OR, Fluoro Imaging studies include: General X-ray, OR cases (cystos, ortho, GI), Fluoro cases (ortho & GI) First-time travelers accepted Average ~110 scans/studies per day IV starts: Not required RRA: Not used Radiologist coverage: In-house until 5 PM; Vrad covers 2 AM–6 AM Scheduling & Shifts: 2,2,3 rotation between 2 teams (8-hour shifts) Day Shifts: 06:00–14:30, 06:30–15:00, 08:00–16:30, 09:30–17:00 Afternoon Shift: 14:30–23:00 Midnight Shift: 00:00–08:00 Self-scheduling: Not guaranteed Solo coverage: Yes, overnight Weekend: Every other week (EOW) Holiday: May rotate Floating / Cross-Coverage: Floats between General X-ray, Fluoro, & OR Dress Code: May wear any clean, professional color Permanent staff wear Emerald Green (optional for travelers) Orientation: 5 shifts with a preceptor EMR & PACS: EMR: Community Works PACS: Intellirad / Intelliconnect
