Our job summary

A board eligible/board certified physician is sought to join a Geriatric Post-Acute Care team in Springfield, Missouri, providing care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The role includes a flexible Monday to Friday schedule with limited evening/weekend on-call duties, supported by a multidisciplinary team and opportunities for medical directorship. The health system is well-established, nationally accredited, and recognized for quality and patient safety.

Health System is seeking a BE/BC physician to join our Geriatric Post-Acute Care team in Springfield, Missouri. This physician will see patients in the skilled nursing facility and long term care settings. Candidates may be BE/BC in geriatric medicine, internal medicine or family medicine.

Position highlights:

Join 7 physicians in our well-established Geriatric Medicine group
Cover 3 skilled nursing and/or long term care facilities with the potential for medical directorships
Support from APPs and a Director of Post-Acute Care who serves as a liaison with the facilities
Mon-Fri schedule
Position allows for flexibility in daily schedule start and end times
1:5 evening/weekend call- phone calls only
