LDRP / Level I Nursery and OB unit - Float to Medsurg/Peds *Certifications Required: BLS, NRP (Preferred: ACLS, STABLE, TNCC)* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT - # of L&D Beds: 4 - # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: C-sections are done in the OR. Labor RNs will go down to OR with the patient and then convert over to the baby for stabilization and back to nursery until mom is back-generally in 30-45 min, then recovery will continue on floor for 2 hour recovery - # of Triage beds: 1 - # of Postpartum beds: 4 use L&D beds - # of Births per day? Month? Year?: 250 per year - Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:2 couplet, then change if laboring - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Preeclampsia, cholestasis of pregnancy, repeat Cesarean sections, stabilize baby for transport - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and some newborn stabilization experience, will float to medsurg/peds -
