RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend minimum requirement
• Float to emergency department as needed
• ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience required
• At least 1 travel assignment prior to this position required
• ICU experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Patient ratios: Med Surg 6:1 occasionally 7:1, ICU (typically more step down than ICU patients) 4:1
• Work with equipment including vents, A lines, and central lines
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis and dressing changes
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Must demonstrate outgoing personality and strong teamwork skills

This new state-of-the-art 30-bed critical access hospital features three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The facility provides larger, more spacious patient rooms and offers comprehensive services including outpatient wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The hospital has received recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and has earned multiple awards from the Joint Commission, American Heart Association, and American Stroke Association for stroke and diabetes care excellence.
