Locum Tenens Opportunity for Radiologist in Pacifica, CAPosition Overview:Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Radiologist in the picturesque vicinity of Pacifica, CA. This temporary assignment provides weekday and weekend coverage, offering flexibility and a diverse range of cases. We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with an active CA license, and specific skills in reading PETs, OB ultrasound, Nuc Med, MR, Neuro CT, and PET scans.
Position Details:- Shift Schedule:
- Weekdays: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Weekends: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
Qualifications:- Board Certification: Required
- Active CA License: Required
- Fellowship Training: Not required for Diagnostic; Required for Interventional Radiologist
- ACLS Certification: Required for sedation
- Ability to Provide List of Scans/Images: Required
Additional Requirements:- Local Candidates: Highly Preferred
- Clean Malpractice/Background: Required for Temporary Privileges
- Disclosure of Previous CHI/Dignity Facility Work: Required
- COVID Vaccination: Required
Assignment Details:- Duration: 3 months, starting from Dec 18

- Weekdays: 1 provider for 10a-6p, 1 provider for 8a-4p, 1 provider for extra coverage
- Weekends: 2 providers for 8a-6p
- Telehealth/Onsite Coverage: Combination or Individual options considered
- Reason for Coverage: Group has given their 90-day notice
- Setting: Telehealth/Inpatient
- FTE: 5.0 (1.0 Each)
- Average Daily Studies (7a-5p): Plain film x-ray: 100; Ultrasounds: 35; CT: 100; IR Cases: 7
- Average Studies (5p-7a): 48, mostly CT, ultrasound, and plain x-ray

- Voice Recognition System: Powerscribe
- 24/7 IT Support
Duties/Required Procedures:- Must be able to read PETs

Support Staff/Worksite Resources:- 5 trained staff members in IR ()
- 3 CT units staffed 24/7
- 1 fluoro room for various studies
- 3 portable x-ray units
- 4 Carms and 1 Oarm for surgeries
- Total of 64 techs covering the hospital 24/7
