Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Same Day Surgery position in Nevada, requiring a NV state RN license and at least 2 years of same day surgery experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Same Day Surgery department in an outpatient hospital setting
- Assignment is for a 13-week contract
- Shift consists of four 10-hour variable shifts per week
- Uses Epic EMR system; orientation training or test out available
- KRONOS timekeeping system is utilized
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- Must work at least 2 major holidays during the contract
- All requested time off (RTO) must be arranged at the time of consideration; additional time will not be added at the end of the contract
- There are no exceptions for blocked scheduling requests
- First-time travelers may apply if all listed requirements are met
Requirements
- Active Nevada RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in same day surgery
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after contract completion
