Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with both scrub and circulate skills and a valid MA RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital operating room setting
- Required to scrub and circulate in specialties including transplant, liver and kidney, endoscopy, vascular, neuro, trauma, pediatric, and general surgery
- Cases may include emergencies such as trauma, motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and stabbings
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 to 19:15
- On-call rotation: 1 night every third weekend
- Candidates must provide two professional references, including one from a nurse manager or higher
- A 200-mile radius rule applies for RNs
- Responsibilities include handling a variety of complex and emergent surgical procedures
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Strong scrub experience in an operating room required
- Ability to both scrub and circulate in multiple surgical specialties
- Experience with vascular, neuro, trauma, and pediatric cases required
- Must pass a EKG test
- Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license
