Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric LTAC position requiring Iowa or Compact RN licensure and tracheostomy expertise.
Responsibilities
- Work in a long-term acute care (LTAC) pediatric unit
- Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, 18:00–6:30
- Assignment length is 13 or 15 weeks based on contract start date
- Up to three weekends required in a six-week period
- Locals and first-time travelers are eligible
- Provide specialized care to pediatric LTAC patients with tracheostomies
- Night shift role with consistent schedule
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team
Requirements
- Active Iowa or Compact RN license
- Minimum of one year pediatric LTAC experience
- Proficiency or expertise in performing tracheostomy care
- Current BLS certification
