We have an immediate need for a Project Manager to join the construction management team at the Lexington Avenue Armory renovation project in midtown.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

 

The client for this project is for the NYS Office of General Services (OGS)

 



Responsibilities

  • Support project execution to maintain schedule, budget, and quality; coordinate with design teams and assist in resolving issues
  • Monitor contractor performance, including schedule oversight (Primavera P6), and track change management (Field/Change Orders) and cost impacts
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and project-specific construction management plans
  • Facilitate project communication and reporting; conduct bi-weekly meetings and keep Area Supervisor informed of progress and issues
  • Manage project controls and documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and Information Bulletins
  • Review contractor payments, certified payrolls, and support financial tracking
  • Perform analysis of contractor claims and disputes, including review of schedules, project records, and cost documentation; support development of responses and resolution strategies
  • Coordinate inspection activities with field staff and Code Inspection personnel; ensure proper incident reporting

 



Qualifications



 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience on multi-phase, large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
  • Minimum 4 years in a Project Manager or similar role supporting projects >$10M
  • Working knowledge of scheduling (Primavera P6 preferred), change management, and cost controls
  • Experience reviewing contractor payments, certified payrolls, and project cost documentation
  • Proficiency with RFIs, submittals, and web-based document management systems
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and maintain project reporting
  • Experience supporting claim/dispute review, including schedule and cost impact analysis
  • Familiarity with inspection processes and code compliance coordination
  • Experience working on public-sector or government-funded projects preferred (e.g., OGS, DASNY, SCA)

Compensation:  Minimum: $130,000 yr.  Max: $150,000 yr.

The compensation range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
