Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications with day shift and weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 8:00 to 20:30
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays are required as scheduled
• Floating required within specialty, sister units, and lower acuity units as needed
• Position involves care of mixed medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Staff may be assigned to float to different units based on patient acuity and organizational needs
• Holiday coverage is required according to hospital scheduling practices

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Med/Surg Tele setting required
• Manager discretion on considering first time travelers
