Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for day shifts in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active CA PT license.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
- Primary focus is on patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength
- Day shift schedule
- No travel required for this position
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising PT Assistants and Aides, and providing accurate patient documentation
- Must communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure high-quality patient care
- Responsibilities involve HIPAA and patient privacy compliance
- Expected to follow clinic policies and procedures, including OSHA and regulatory guidelines
- Position requires standing, walking, and physical mobility for most of the workday
- No specific radius rule; local candidates may be considered
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active California Physical Therapist license required or must be obtained prior to employment (License required if applicable)
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility
- Knowledge of DX and ICD-10 coding for billing services
