Location- Tallahassee, FL 32304
Contract- 04 months contract with higher extension possibilities
Shift- Mon-Fri 9:00-6:00, Sat-Sun 9:00-1630

Position Summary
• The MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner provides evidence-based primary and family care in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team.
• The provider will manage a panel of patients and deliver comprehensive health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and care planning.
• This role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to support patients across a variety of primary care needs.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health issues.
• Perform routine patient examinations and oversee appointment workflows to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests necessary for evaluating illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education on healthy lifestyle choices, preventive care, and wellness strategies.
• Manage chronic conditions and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive, integrated care plans.
• Encourage patient engagement through services such as health screenings, behavioral wellness support, and chronic disease management.
Operational & Administrative Responsibilities
• Execute clinic opening and closing procedures, complete inventory management, and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Perform administrative tasks including patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and accurate electronic documentation.
• Manage patient flow efficiently and support clinic operations through strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with quality standards and internal protocols.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
• Current National Board Certification as an FNP.
• Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience in a family medicine or primary care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in information management systems and electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of quality measures related to chronic disease management.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision while collaborating effectively with a clinical care team.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.
• Strong initiative, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and patient advocacy.
