WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Job Function:
- Day Shift or Night Shift.
- 8AM-8:30PM or 8PM-8:30AM.
- Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress. Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
- Begin treatment and monitor doses. If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit. Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
- Maintain patient records.
- Create and implement effective care plans.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current RN license for the state of New York.
- 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
- BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
