CRNA Locum Opportunity Start Date: July 21, 2025

Contract Length: 6 months (facility closed on holidays)
Location: 25-bed Level 4 Trauma Center
Schedule:

• Shifts: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Call: 1 week per quarter (evening weekday call + 24-hour weekend call)
• Call coverage is primarily for pediatric tonsil cases in July and October
• Locums are rarely called in typically 1 to 2 times per year

Work Details:

• Support Staff:
• 3 CRNA FTEs (2 positions vacating)
• 2 OR rooms and 2 Endo suites
• 2 circulating RNs, 3 scrub techs, 2 pre-op RNs, 2 PACU RNs
• Case Volume:
• OR: procedures/day
• Endo: procedures/month
• Patient Population: Ages 2 and up
• EMR: Epic

Required Skills & Case Types:

• Must practice independently (no supervision)
• Comfortable with:
• Peds, ENT, General Surgery, Podiatry
• Ophthalmology (monthly cataracts)
• Ortho (carpal tunnel, rotator cuff outpatient only)
• Endoscopy (EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP)
• Note: Locums will most likely cover the OR only Endo coverage is unlikely

Requirements:

• NBCRNA Certification
• Active NM license
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience
