Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an inpatient Rehab position with night shifts, requiring BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications and travel nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient rehab setting within a hospital
- Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week from 17:45 to 06:15
- No local candidates accepted; must live at least 100 miles from the facility
- Uses Cerner EMR; prior Cerner experience required
- Provide safe and competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards
- Demonstrate professional leadership and promote patient-centered care within the healthcare team
- Rehab nursing experience is preferred
- Adherence to Service Excellence standards is expected
- At least two manager or supervisor references from recent employment are preferred
- No locals accepted within a 100-mile radius
Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license with no pending status
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Mandated CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care experience in a US hospital required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- US Social Security Number required
