You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors and staff to provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or identification in accordance with site protocols.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols or while on post.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel if required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence while on duty, representing Allied Universal to clients and the public.
• Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development as required for armed patrol posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
