Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a focus on neonates and pediatrics. The ideal candidate will possess skills in critical care settings, including NICU, PICU, and pediatric emergency departments. Responsibilities will include providing respiratory care to a variety of patient populations within a community hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapies including nebulizer treatments and BiPAP/CPAP management.
- Conduct assessments, administer arterial blood gases, and maintain ventilator/NIV management.
- Support care in the emergency department, critical care ICU, and med/surgical floors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float between various pediatric units as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in pediatrics, NICU, and PICU settings.
- Current RRT and North Carolina (NC) license in hand.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS required.
