RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 2 openings available
• Start date: ASAP
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS (all AHA certified)
• Must hold current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care
• Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to the developmental age of patients
• Handle emergency/crisis situations
• Physical requirements include prolonged standing and walking, heavy lifting for patient positioning and transfers
• Requires considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching
• Must have manual dexterity and fine motor coordination
• Work in bloodborne pathogen exposure environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Variable working hours with flexibility for unexpected schedule changes and emergencies
