This role is for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care in select emergency departments primarily in New York City and the northeast. The position offers blocked shifts with paid travel, accommodations, continuous work assignments, and competitive hourly compensation. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in emergency medicine and demonstrate strong communication and adaptability skills while benefiting from extensive professional support and development resources.

Curious about the role of a special operations team physician? A special ops physician is assigned to one ED at a time providing quality care to patients. Our team physicians can count on continuous work due to planned assignments. If you are board certified or eligible in ABEM or AOBEM with emergency medicine residency training, you are just right for this role! TeamHealth will obtain any additional licenses and DEAs for the designated states if needed.

Competitive compensation, with an estimated hourly range of $325/hour to $345/hour.
