Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a day-shift role requiring ARRT, BLS (AHA), and Siemens MRI experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital MRI department using highly technical MRI equipment
- Shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on scheduled weekdays and some weekends
- No holiday or call requirements
- Patient screening, contrast administration, and use of Siemens MRI systems are required
- Responsibilities include patient screening, positioning, contrast administration, and quality control of images
- Preparation of exam records and images for radiologist review is expected
- Team-based environment requires good communication with patients and staff
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off permitted
- Local travelers can only complete one travel assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent MRI experience required
- Current ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
- Ability to administer IV and oral contrast safely and accurately
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not considered for this role
- License required if applicable
