Position OverviewNextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to patients in our Cheyenne, WY clinic.
You ll join a dedicated team committed to providing accessible, patient-centered healthcare in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat patients according to clinical best practices for urgent care and occupational health.
Provide compassionate, respectful care consistent with NextCare s mission and values.
Discuss diagnoses, treatment plans, and next steps clearly with patients.
Document all encounters accurately using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Take responsibility for appropriate coding and billing of services rendered.
Maintain productivity and quality standards consistent with peers and industry benchmarks.
Provide follow-up care as indicated.
Deliver care in a legal, ethical, and patient-centered manner.

QualificationsRequired:
Active and unrestricted Wyoming medical license
Active DEA
NCCPA certification (PA) or ANCC/AANP certification (NP)
For NPs: Authorized to treat all age groups (Family NP certification required)
Minimum Bachelor s in PA Studies or Master s in Nursing (NP)
Current BLS certification
EHR proficiency
Comfortable treating patients of all ages
Availability for occasional weekends and holidays
DOT certification (training provided at no cost if not currently certified)
Preferred:
Experience with urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in medical clinics
Suturing and initial X-ray interpretation skills
For PAs: Master s Degree in PA Studies
