About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Machine Operator
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Schedule: 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 11:30PM-7:30AM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Consistent recent work history of at least 6 months at previous employers.
2. Preferred previous experience in an industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing setting.
3. Previous experience working in a role with formal processes.
4. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
5. Understanding how to read and what blueprints are.
6. Previous experience working with measurements (rulers, tape measures, etc.).
7. Experience in articulating processes in a detailed manner.
8. The ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal forms.
9. Demonstrate a history of strong problem-solving skills.
10. An ability to perform job functions based on quick timelines.
11. Aptitude to learn and implement new skills for professional growth.
12. Willingness to be cross trained in a variety of different roles.
13. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception.
14. Must be comfortable using hands and fingers with good dexterity to manipulate small parts.
15. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers.
16. Ability to stand and sit for long durations depending on daily needs.
17. Ability to occasionally lift up to 40lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inspect small parts under a microscope, following client guidelines and standards.
2. Trim parts using knives or cutters.
3. Weigh, collect, and package manufactured items.
4. Load and unload materials when operating manufacturing machines.
5. Work in a clean room environment as needed.
6. Complete tasks accurately and on time.
7. Record job progress and completion.
8. Report any quality issues or problems.
9. Keep your work area clean and organized.
10. Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
