This permanent Family Medicine physician position is with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on Maui, Hawaii, providing comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population. The role involves a 40-hour workweek in a Patient-Centered Medical Home setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team. Join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Maui, Hawaii, with 140 employees who provide primary care, psychiatry, pediatrics, OB-GYN, and Dentistry services. The group is looking for a Family Medicine physician who is comfortable seeing patients from adolescence through geriatrics. About the opportunity The group has three offices on Maui-Ooka, Lahaina, and Wailuku. The patient base is 70% Medicaid, 15% No insurance, and 5% Medicare Work a 40-hour workweek in a Patient-Centered Medical Home setting. Be part of the care team with MD, RN, and MA. See around 20 patients on a typical day. Clinics are open 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM on Friday, and 9 AM to Noon on Saturday, sharing evening and weekend hours with other providers.
