We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington State, in a location near Garfield. This is an excellent chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic setting, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. Position Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Schedule: 7-day inpatient blocks, one week per month. Shifts run from Thursday 7 AM to Wednesday 5 PM. Night call responsibilities will vary. Patient Load: Approximately 18 patients per shift. Setting: Both outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice. Requirements Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology. Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required. Licensure: Active Washington State medical license (WA only). Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30 days. Must be eligible for hospital/surgery center privileges. Clinical Skills Needed Core Skills: Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), ICU care, and outpatient/inpatient cardiology. Preferred Skills: PA catheter placement and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Not Required: Interventional cardiology procedures or electrophysiology. Facility Highlights EMR System: Epic.
