Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for ongoing hospital-based/rounding locum tenens coverage, focusing on night and weekend shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified surgeon to provide vital coverage within a well-established trauma environment.

Practice Setting: hospital based/rounding

Schedule (Shifts and Hours): nights, weekends

Dates of Coverage: TBD

Call Ratio: 2 to 3 weekends a month

Number of Physicians in Practice: TBD

Number of Operating Room: 16

Number of Cases per day: 2

Trauma Level/Designation: level 2

Patient Age Demographic: Adult and geriatric

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days (If provider does have a PA license, it will likely not take the full 120 days).

Submission Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification: REQUIRED in Vascular Surgery.
• Fellowship: REQUIRED Completion of a Vascular Surgery Fellowship.
• Licensure: REQUIRED Active Pennsylvania (PA) License (Willingness to obtain PA license is considered).
• Certifications: REQUIRED Active BLS and ACLS Certification.
• History: REQUIRED Clean Malpractice History.
• Compensation: REQUIRED Must follow the established rate structure.
• Preference: PREFERRED Local Provider.
