Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6:30pm
- 13-week assignment with 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- On-call responsibilities as required
- Patient care involves moderate sedation and procedures typical of interventional radiology
- Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide patient and family education and instructions
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Demonstrate professional communication skills and clinical judgment
- Continuing education participation is encouraged
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in providing moderate sedation is required
