Emergency Medicine/ Level 2 Trauma/ North Florida North Florida hospital is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team. The Emergency Center is the only Level II Trauma Center in the region. They are North Florida s only Comprehensive Stroke Center and are designated as a Chest Pain Center with PCI. They are a 53-bed emergency center, equipped with 4 trauma bays. More than 65,000 people are treated each year by their highly trained staff. They have a rapid response lab and digital imaging, including a CT scanner and two X-Ray units within the department providing their team with quick access to our patient s results. The Emergency Center Northeast is a 45,000-square-foot freestanding emergency center. Their 32 bed facility treats over 44,000 patients annually, with only nine percent of those patients needing to be transferred to the main campus to be admitted.
