Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (North Shore, near Boston)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 18, 2026 – End: April 18, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab (2 procedure rooms)
• Nursing Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• On-Call Requirement: 7 on-call nights per month (includes one full weekend and 4 additional nights)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients
• Charting System: EPIC – Cupid

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab
• Active Massachusetts RN license (required for Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Current ACLS certification
• Proven experience with interventional cardiac procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring
• Expertise in PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist with interventional procedures such as PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations
• Monitor patient status and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC – Cupid electronic health record system
• Participate in the on-call schedule, delivering expert care during after-hours cardiac cases
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
