• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/7/2025 – End: 3/8/2026)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810 - $1940
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Major holidays (potential time off with manager approval)
• Orientation: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (next dates: 12/8 or 12/15)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred: High acuity drip management, arterial line experience, BiPAP/Airvo proficiency
• Nicotine-free healthcare facility
• No new graduate nurses accepted

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring close observation
• Administer medications, manage drips, and monitor arterial lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to lower acuity units as needed
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Deliver compassionate support to patients and families
