Position, Compensation & Organization:
- Founding geriatrician role shaping care for the Shenandoah Valley
- Join a nationally recognized hospital (100 Top Hospitals Recognition)
- 4-day, 10-hour schedule with full-time compensation package
- Manage 5-10 patients daily across local assisted living facilities (within 20 minutes)
- 1:10 call schedule covering hospice & palliative care only
- Extended 30-45 minute visits emphasizing relationships and quality care
- Integration with behavioral health for dual-diagnosis patients
- Involved in establishing the region's first PACE facility
- Strong referral network across Augusta Health
- Teaching opportunities in the Internal Medicine residency program
