Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an IMCU unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients with a variety of complex diagnoses, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMCU.
- Monitor and manage chronic vents and assist respiratory therapy as needed.
- Utilize specialty equipment including temp pacers, chest tubes, and A-lines.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Float to other units as required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Active New York RN license and any other relevant licenses (NURSYS Report required).
- 2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references.
- Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
