This role is for an Interventional Cardiologist at a 465-bed regional referral center in Kentucky, offering a collaborative heart and vascular program with multiple specialists and advanced clinical support. The position includes access to hybrid ORs, cutting-edge cath labs, and integrated electronic medical records, with competitive compensation, benefits, and substantial vacation and CME time. Interventional Cardiology Kentucky
- A 465-bed regional referral center is presenting a lucrative opportunity for Interventional Cardiologists.
- They have a high-quality heart and vascular program with 20 Cardiologists, 4 Electrophysiologists, 3 Endovascular Surgeons, 2 Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 3 Interventional Radiologists who work collaboratively and 25+ advanced providers supporting the service line
- Their program features:
- Hybrid OR
- Interventional Radiology, Vascular and Cardiology collaboration
- Seasoned cath lab staff & techs
- 8 total labs 4 Phillips FD20 labs including Hybrid
- EPIC electronic medical records system
- The hospital-employed physician will receive a guarantee plus WRVUs. The incoming physicians also will earn excellent benefits (health, vision, dental, life, retirement/CAP plan), along with 6-weeks (30 days) of vacation and an additional week (5-days) for CME. They will offer signing bonus, pay for all licensing/DEA/credentialing fees, advanced practitioner monthly stipend if supervising full-time NP/PA. They have onsite daycare and just a large clinical support group to help all their cardiovascular services.
- Their Health System includes two hospitals. Additionally, their network features 20 family care and multi-specialty clinics located throughout Ohio and Kentucky. Theri service area is over 770,000 and their catchment area is extremely large. They are part of the University of Kentucky and currently have OB/ED residents and others rotating at their main campus. Their Internal Medicine residency program begins next summer.
