Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and current AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• 3x12 hour shifts per week with varied start times
• Up to 3 night calls required every 6 weeks
• Patient care is provided in a post-anesthesia recovery environment
• EPIC charting system is used and experience is recommended
• Responsibilities include post-anesthesia patient monitoring and care
• Flu vaccine is mandatory during flu season
• Parking is available at cost with limited validation; public transport is recommended in some locations
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Dress code and further assignment details provided upon onboarding

Requirements

• Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Primary source license verification via NURSYS and board of nursing
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
