Position SummaryThe facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its behavioral health team in New Haven, CT .
This full-time, permanent position provides a collegial work environment, flexible scheduling, and strong clinical support. The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning in an outpatient setting that emphasizes quality care, teamwork, and professional growth.

Essential Position ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide ongoing medication management and supportive psychotherapy.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Promote preventive mental health strategies and community wellness efforts.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
