We’re hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join the rehab team at a supportive, community-focused hospital in Tonasket, WA. This permanent, benefits-eligible role offers a diverse caseload across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings—ideal for clinicians who value meaningful work and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Speech-Language Pathologist – Broad-Scope Practice
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Provide individualized therapy for patients across all ages and acuity levels
- Perform (or collaborate on) Modified Barium Swallow studies; FEEs experience welcome (preferred, not required)
- Document progress and communicate updates with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and caregivers to support recovery and quality of life
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–4:30p (no weekends/holidays)
- Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and extended care (LTC)
- Caseload: ~6 patients/day
- Charting: CPSI
- Dress Code: Professional attire or scrubs
- Orientation: 1–2 days with a preceptor
- Status: FT Non-Exempt | Direct Hire
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $39–$58/hour (DOE)
- Full medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO
- Scrubs: Any color; clean and professional
- Relocation: Not covered
Requirements
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- Washington SLP license (or eligibility)
- CCC-SLP (ASHA) and BLS
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- FEEs or Modified Barium experience
- Spanish or additional language skills
