Join Our Surgical Team in Syracuse, NY!
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient vascular surgery team in Syracuse, NY. Our facility is renowned for its commitment to patient-centered care and is currently looking to cover a position due to leave coverage. This is a locum position with varying schedules, requiring full-time availability for days, nights, evenings, and weekends. You will work autonomously with a supervising surgeon present during your assignment, focusing exclusively on adult and geriatric patients. The estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately one month, and we provide financial support for travel and accommodation expenses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Suture Removal
- Diagnose Illnesses
- Treat Illnesses
- Order and Interpret Tests
- Assist in Surgery
- Write Prescriptions
- Coordinate Patient Care
- Rounding on patients
- Conduct Pre-Op Physical Exams
Qualifications:
- NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification (NP must have RNFA)
- Active New York State License at the time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Prior experience in vascular and/or cardiac surgery, along with medical management
- Full-time availability is a must
- A Self-Query NPDB report, pulled within the same month as the submission
License and Certification Requirements:
