The role is for an inpatient cardiologist responsible for conducting patient rounds, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and performing procedures like cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). The position covers specific weeks with a Monday to Friday schedule, supporting a patient load of 8-10 daily patients, primarily adults aged 40-90 years. The cardiologist will work alongside a physician assistant and have backup support from another cardiologist available by phone.
