This position is for a Per Diem Primary Care Physician providing both in-office and telehealth care to patients with a variety of acute, chronic, and preventive health needs. The role requires at least two years of primary care experience, board certification in Family or Internal Medicine, and the flexibility to work across multiple locations in Wake Forest, NC. Employment type:
- “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)
- Anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs
Location:
- Seeing patients across multiple offices in Wake Forest, NC
- Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed.
What you'll be working on:
- Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
- Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- At least 2 years of primary care experience required.
- Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of North Carolina
- The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.
- Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
