The Walser Reconditioning Center Journeyperson Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to meet safety and performance standards in a high-volume automotive reconditioning environment. The role requires ASE certification, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to collaborate with service advisors and parts departments while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. As a Journeyperson Technician, you’ll perform skilled diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of performance and safety, all while working at the Walser Reconditioning Center, our largest operation supporting dealerships behind the scenes.
Compensation:
• $29.00-$35 hour based on production.

What You’ll Dod
• Perform repairs and maintenance accurately and efficiently following factory standards
• Diagnose and recommend additional service work as needed
• Communicate promptly with Service Advisors and the Parts Department
• Road test vehicles to verify quality of repairs
• Stay current on manufacturer bulletins, recalls, and training programs
• Document all work performed using TruVideo and Estimate Tools
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures

What You’ll Bring
• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Automotive degree/certificate or 3+ years of professional experience required
• Current ASE Certifications required
• Strong diagnostic, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
