Locum Vascular Surgery Opportunity

Seeking a locum Vascular Surgeon to provide hospital-based and rounding coverage, starting as soon as credentialed. This role focuses on adult and geriatric patients within a Level II trauma center.

Schedule & Coverage

• Nights and weekends

• Call coverage approximately 2 3 weekends per month

• Dates of coverage: TBD

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based with rounding responsibilities

• 16 operating rooms

• Average of 2 cases per day

Clinical Scope & Procedures

• Aneurysm repair

• Carotid endarterectomy (CEA) and carotid stenting

• Femoral bypass surgery

• AV fistula procedures

• Endovascular and open reconstruction for deep vein occlusions

• Endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease and limb gangrene

• Treatment of vascular malformations, nutcracker syndrome, lymphedema, venous wounds, and varicose veins

Credentialing

• Estimated timeframe: days (may be shorter with an active PA license)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery

• Completion of Vascular Surgery Fellowship

• Active Pennsylvania medical license

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Clean malpractice history

• Local providers preferred
