Locum Vascular Surgery Opportunity
Seeking a locum Vascular Surgeon to provide hospital-based and rounding coverage, starting as soon as credentialed. This role focuses on adult and geriatric patients within a Level II trauma center.
Schedule & Coverage
Nights and weekends
Call coverage approximately 2 3 weekends per month
Dates of coverage: TBD
Practice Setting
Hospital-based with rounding responsibilities
16 operating rooms
Average of 2 cases per day
Clinical Scope & Procedures
Aneurysm repair
Carotid endarterectomy (CEA) and carotid stenting
Femoral bypass surgery
AV fistula procedures
Endovascular and open reconstruction for deep vein occlusions
Endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease and limb gangrene
Treatment of vascular malformations, nutcracker syndrome, lymphedema, venous wounds, and varicose veins
Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: days (may be shorter with an active PA license)
Requirements
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Completion of Vascular Surgery Fellowship
Active Pennsylvania medical license
BLS and ACLS certifications
Clean malpractice history
Local providers preferred
