Join a growing neonatology team in a progressive and expanding NICU. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, experienced NNP looking for long-term growth in a supportive, team-based environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide care for critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and develop individualized care plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Assist with delivery room resuscitations and newborn assessments
- Educate and support families throughout NICU stay
- Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, RTs, and other staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Transitioning to 24-hour shift model for enhanced coverage
- Current Texas NP license (or eligibility) - Required
- Board Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Required
- Experience in Level II or III NICU - Highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- 4 NICU beds, 10 IMC beds
- Newly expanded Women's and Children's facility
- Plans underway to upgrade from Level II to Level III NICU
