Seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Physician to join a Regional Level IV NICU in Long Beach, CA. Responsibilities include caring for critically ill neonates, participating in advanced services (transport, whole-body cooling, iNO, palliative care), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging in CQI and academic programs, and residing locally. Required: neonatal fellowship experience, CA medical license/DEA (or ability to obtain), recent NPDB self-query, clean licensure history, and willingness to relocate.

Job Responsibilities:- Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 patients and approximately 1,400 admissions annually.
- Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, Obstetric Hospitalists, and various pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists.
- Participate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy, and palliative care.
- Engage in the NICU s continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Contribute to an academic environment with integrated residency and fellowship programs.

- This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required.
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Experience post-fellowship is required.
- California Medical License or ability to obtain.
- Clean malpractice and medical license history preferred.
- Experience as a Neonatologist is required.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) is mandatory.
- Willingness to relocate to the area.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
- California Medical License (must be obtained prior to start).
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
