JOB SUMMARY:
The EVS (Environmental Services) position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8:00am-6:00pm
- Pay: $18.00/hr.
- Location: Lithia Springs 30122
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Performing routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, surgical suites, public areas, administrative offices, and physician areas.
- Conducting thorough cleaning procedures, especially in areas requiring infection control protocols.
- Handling daily maintenance and major restoration of both hard and carpeted surfaces.
- Undertaking specialized cleaning projects such as walls, entrances, windows, vents, and sidewalks.\
- Adhering to safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- This role involves access to, cleaning, or transporting hazardous, pharmaceutical, chemotherapy chemical, soiled, or other regulated materials.
- Duties include cleaning public areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary spaces, administrative offices, and physician areas to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for staff, patients, physicians, and visitors.
- This position is exposed to hazardous materials and various infectious diseases.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a role in housekeeping/environmental services in the Healthcare, Hospitality, or Class A Commercial field.
- In lieu of lead or coordinator experience, 2 years of experience in a staff-level housekeeping/environmental services role in the aforementioned fields will be considered.
