What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
- Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors with directions or information as needed in accordance with site guidelines.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required during incidents.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or patrols as required by Allied Universal and the location.
- Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols regarding the handling of firearms and other security-related equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
